The game of paintball originated in the 80′ s of the 20th century in USA. Over time it has become a favourite for millions of men and women of all ages in over 100 countries around the world. Whether they are children, students and seniors, all paintball players have one thing in common – a love of adventure and the instinct to fight. The Sector Paintball Sports Center , located in Chisinau, offers not only paintball, but also lasertag. After the Second World War, military cavalry units were closed throughout the Soviet Union, and in their place were founded sports institutions, especially for equestrianism. In 1956, such an institution – the Republican School of Equestrianism and Modern Pentathlon – was opened in Chisinau, becoming one of the most prestigious sports schools. And at the moment the School trains real champions.
Next to Chisinau, just 15 minutes away by car, there is also the “Sparta” Equestrian Sports Club – the first private equestrian complex of European level in Moldova. It was established in 2004 and today is one of the largest clubs in our country.
The youngest animal lovers have the opportunity to ride a pony, have fun with a donkey or dwarf lambs from the mini zoo of the club.
Today the collection of the institution includes about 1000 birds and animals. 10 animal species are included in the international conservation programs. Tens of animals represent species included in the International Red Book and the Red Book of the Republic of Moldova.
There are also guided excursions, a young biologists’ club, a rural courtyard (where children can meet domestic animals and birds) and playgrounds for children.

BeFly Butterfly Garden – A Unique Tropical Experience in Chișinău
BeFly Butterfly Garden is one of the most unique attractions in the Republic of Moldova, inviting visitors to step into a tropical paradise filled with vibrant colors, exotic plants, and hundreds of live butterflies.
The garden is home to approximately 17 species of exotic butterflies from Africa, the Philippines, and Costa Rica, all flying freely in a specially designed tropical environment. Guests can observe their natural behavior, learn fascinating facts about their life cycle, and enjoy close encounters with these remarkable creatures.
A highlight of the visit is the butterfly insectarium, where new butterfly pupae arrive every week. Visitors may witness one of nature’s most extraordinary transformations as butterflies emerge from their chrysalises and take their very first flight.
The ticket includes fresh fruit for feeding the butterflies, as well as the opportunity to take photos and videos without using flash.
