In the 1970s, Maria Codreanu conquered Chisinau with her charm and talent. “Two beautiful eyes, dark eyes, your eyes/The light of my soul/The city of love has given us/Faithful Chisinau”, sang the beautiful artist in “Song about Chisinau”. The song was one of the most popular at the time.
