The 2𝟓 installations with 17𝟎 of targets are the first swallows in the long-running project launched by Chisinau City Hall – Tourist Indicators “𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞”!
This project aims to make it easier for tourists to find their way around the capital in relation to the sights that can be visited within a radius of 500 m from their location.
The 25 “𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞” installations are plates made of brass of different configurations, which exactly copy the contour of the pavement of the place where they are located, thus becoming integral parts of the pedestrian layer. Being installed in key intersections and places of the capital they are to be discovered by chance by passers-by, thus becoming “pedestrian” guides – useful guides for the inhabitants and guests of the capital.
Their surfaces are marked with nearby sights, and street names are engraved for better orientation. In addition, a QR code is engraved, which leads to the online platform www.visit.chisinau.md, where the sights marked on the installations are described in more detail.
