Establishment of the Chisinau Municipal Destination Management Committee (CMDTC)
On Friday, 19 June, the 7th edition of the ANTRIM Incoming Tourism Forum 2026 took place, where representatives of the Chisinau City Hall participated as speakers. During the event, the Chisinau Municipal Destination Management Committee (CMDTC) was officially launched. The Committee was established with the suport of the SUSDEST-NET Project – “Sustainable Destinations Black Sea Network”, co-financed by the Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme.
The Committee brings together 12 members (11 with voting rights) from the public, private and associative sectors, who will contribute, through their expertise and experience, to the development and promotion of Chisinau as a sustainable and competitive tourist destination.
As part of the forum, the Committee also held its first working workshop, during which the priority areas for cooperation and action for the upcoming period were defined.
The Chisinau City Hall reaffirms its commitment to supporting initiatives that contribute to the development of urban tourism, the strengthening of partnerships, and the enhancement of the capital’s attractiveness for visitors and investors.
